Youth events

HOLIDAY CLUB

Once a year the church runs a Holiday Club for Infant & Junior Children (reception to school year 6). The club runs during the first week of the School Summer Holidays. Activities include Bible stories, drama, videos, music, crafts, puzzles, games & lots of fun!

The programme for 2010 was based on 'Rocky's Plaice' and great fun was had by all.

SUMMER MELTDOWN

For children/young teens in school years 7 to 9, the meltdown runs also during the first week of the School Summer holidays.  The meltdown is a set of high energy activties including games and an afternoon outing.

EXCITE CLUB

Occasionally throughout the year, we hold a club event in the Church Hall for 5-11 year-olds called Excite with a range of fun activities.  The format is similar to the Holiday Club with games, craft work, songs, videos, Bible based stories and above all lots of fun!  Each event will be advertised in the local schools and information sent to parents/carers of chuldren who came to the Holiday Club.

YOUTH CLUB

A club for 14 to 18 year olds is held on a Monday evening from 8.00 pm to 10.00 pm.  This is run in conjunction with Churches Together. 

YOUTH PULSE CHURCH

For 11 to 17 year olds held on a Sunday evening in the church hall during school term time.  This is a joint venture with the 3Cs church in Cam.

IMPORTANT NOTICE - SAFE TO GROW

Safe to Grow is the name of our Child Protection Policy, that helps us protect all children and youth in our care from being exposed to abuse. It means that all our children's and youth volunteers have been vetted by the CRB to ensure that they are not unsuitable to work with children and young people (this is a mandatory requirement for all our childrens' workers).
